I've been working really hard on the last designs these past days and now I can proudly show the 'finished' Dex to you! Originally I planned 108 Fakemon, but when the fairy type was announced I had to add a few more (although I rather view it as some kind of 'mystik' type) and now I have a total of 115 Fakemon (if I counted properly).I know there is still a lot place for improvement and I will probably edit some of the designs and sprites later, but for now I will continue to finish all the backsprites for them. I probably won't upload those though.

It did take me quite a while, plus I had to redesign or resprite quite a few of them. The thing is I have lost my interest in creating fakemon for the most part, but I put a lot of effort into making these and I would rather see them used by someone than rot in my gallery. Plus, I know from my time being active in that scene that there are always people looking for free sprites to use. So I just wait and see if I can see them in good use one day.

I see! You're quite a skilled pixel artist. I understand your desire to branch out after a while, though.
There are lots of people I know who are developing fan games and would love to have access to some of these sprites. They would make a great collection for a mobile app game, too.
If you really want to see them brought to life, I suggest partnering with a game developer or a programmer. That's what I did. The problem is that 90% of all fangames are abandoned before they manage to produce anything playable.
If it were possible to facilitate more collaborations between artists and game developers, then more games might end up getting made.

Yeah, spriting is nice, but after many years of spriting Fakemon there comes a point when you feel like moving on, which is what I did.
Maybe I should sprite one again, just because it's fun from time to time. And it would probably look better than any of these, given that I have a much better understanding of proportion and lighting now.
Haha, if you know such people, you can show it so them. Like I said, I'd love to see them used, because I probably won't and I'd hate to see them rot.
It really is a shame that so many fangames never produce anything, but I can understand why. I was part of a group who are working on an online-game and I left eventually, because people wouldn't listen to advice or criticism. Having a competent team is really important.
