From "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", chapter 36:
'I'll join you when hell freezes over,' said Neville. 'Dumbledore's Army!' he shouted, and there was an answering cheer from the crowd, whom Voldemort's silencing charms seemed unable to hold.
This is for *potterart 's contest (draw your favorite scene from your favorite HP book). I wouldn't say Deathly Hallows is my favorite of the series, but I absolutely love this scene!

I like this a lot. He would be too skinny if you were drawing him in fifth year, but he isn't a kid any more he's almost 18. He was a short chubby kid for much of the books, but we don't know what he looks like now. Harry/narrator stopped commenting on his looks since then. It would be normal for him to grow taller and thinner. (Mathew Lewis isn't the chubby kid he was either.) Thats what boys do at this age. As an earlier poster said he's spent a year fighting, being tortured and abused.
I like the crazed eyes. (This isn't how I imagined the scene but it works.) He looks very angry. The face is perfect. The scars look real. I like the hair.
The front row blonde girl's arms don't look right. I like Ron, Hermione, and Ginny and McGonagall.

This is probably my favourite scene too, if not just from DH then from the entire series!! it makes me bawl my eyes out every time! Neville is my hero, not Harry (pah) and this really captures why!
I commented on your other picture of Neville meeting the trio with Aberforth but I like this one waaay better!
It shows how much Neville has grown and his darker side. He's not too skinny, he's been in training and worried and stressed out of his mind and so lost all his puppy fat and developed into something of a hottie! Lol.
I don't know if you have already (i'm still browsing your gallery) but I'd love to see you do a pic of Neville slicing up the snake! Really dark and heroic like!
