Can agree with the concept: the extremes or paradigms of either gender are by & large what's wrong with the world. It's a pity more of those around us don't share your feeling.

Strangely disturbing image though: perhaps I've read too many graphic novels/seen too many thrillers, but the figure's complete absorbtion with something out of shot & ignoring of the corner/doorway behind leaves a potential threat hanging in the air, as if someone is going to enter the frame from that corner & not necessarily with good intent...

that is an interesting observation. .. the mood to it is yes in many ways sort of disturbing .. i think at the time i was feeling a sentiment of dissapointment for the same thing the said about the concept .. there are still too many extremes of gender and in the midst sometimes your androgeny is not always praised.. ..

maybe unconsciously i was portaying that mood of how sometimes you feel like you just don't belong. .. a sort of akward uncomfortableness . and vulnerability

thanks for the commentary

I can completely relate. I've always considered myself either androgynous or no gender at all.
