no it wasnt but a heap of people have mentioned it looked like that. i havnt actually seen that movie. i suppose i ought to. no it was just an idea that popped in my head one day, in the shower. ha

I like the idea that she sees the world with her hands. It gives the sense that she keeps people at arms length and uses her most distant appendages to get an understanding of them while also using those same appendages to keep them from seeing her own soul - through her eyes, of course.
If you were blind or a person who did crafts I would say this was especially fitting.
Technical side, I like it as well. Good focus (smooth, not to much contrast between sharp and soft, enough so you can tell what's in focus and what's not), good lighting. The tone also fits the arms-length idea.

reminds me of Pan's Labyrinth. If you haven't seen it then u won't get it but if u have u should recognise how it is.
Anyway in Pan's Labyrinth there is this creature who has eyes in his hands not in his head, and he eats children and fairies, it's actually quite gross when u think about it, especially that he can pull his eyes out of his hands when he's resting.
