i like how you used the black and white in this picture. it turned out really good! actually i think this is the first pic. i've seen someone do something like this before

Thanks - it took a lot of inverse colouring and switching back and forth, accompanied by some selective smudging and blurring - for such a relatively simple-looking effect it took a surprising amount of detailing
