Description More content of my lil' wolfish lady~
Werewolves in Vampirony can freely shift between human and wolf form (as long as it's nighttime and not New moon, that is - 'supernatural' power is very much influenced by moonlight as it thins the veil between worlds. Anyway...)
Feral form? No problemo! Just cute ears and tail? Sure, why not? Meaty paws and sharp claws to tear through enemies and obstructive doors alike? Yeah, definetly.
They need to take care to turn back by sunrise though, as no shifting is possible during the day- unless you WANT to be stuck as half-human-half-wolf while doing your town shopping, all the power to you, mate. (it's still inpractible)
Transformed werewolves can be discerned by their shorter-than-normal tails, prominent eye whites (their eyes stay the same in human and wolf form, being animal-ish in color but keeping disitinctively human pupils and sclera) and opposable thumbs on their forepaws. Every hunter worth his pays knows to keep watch for these signs, less he want's to strike the ire of the local pack. Thing is, it can be hard to spot these subtle differences between lycanthropes and actual wolves in full motion.
That's why plenty of werewolves like to keep some further resemblance of their human form on them, like earrings and other jewellery, scarves, collars and similar accessoires. Henriette here adopted a red shawl as her trademark.

Now, freely shifting between forms with the help of moon energy is nifty and all, but things tend to spiral out of control once the fullmoon rises- literally, for our lycanthropes loose all semblance of control with seemingly random mutations and transformations overtaking body and mind. The exact results of this look different every single month, but they are never pleasant, that's for sure. Maybe think twice before opting to become a werewolf, ey?

Thank you~
Theres nothing hindering a werwolf from being active day and night by the way, they just can't shift at daytime- they could never actually turn into wolf form (safe for fullmoon) and live a relatively normal human life if they so choose. It is true however that werewolves lost a lot of advantages over the years- in prior times one could use their wolfish forms in hunt and battle to their advantage and use the thick fur to survive harsh winters, however the rise of cities made many lycanthropic advantages simply redundant. Safe for some few packs scattered across the globe, werewolves have become rare indeed - however one must note that compared to all the drawbacks vampirism (for instance) brings, being a woofer comes with relatively few disadvantages. The gruesome fullmoon transformations being pretty much the only major one.
