Working on the P'ups sketch cards was the first time in years I did pen & ink work. I worked on this before starting on the cards so I can get the grove back. Who's this? I'm a fan of a Japanese mystery manga called "Detective Conan." (Called "Case Closed" here in the States [link] ) I'm reading the series from the start and one of the first cases involved a murder on a yacht. One of the suspects was this rich witch who was in a loveless marriage and having affairs. You can tell she's dressed to thrill...Done pen & ink, scanned and colored in Photoshop.

I first noticed it on Cartoon Network years ago. The manga started in 1996, and is still going strong! Same with the anime. It's a mystery series and the supporting cast is one of the strongest since Spider-Man's in the seventies, in my opinion!

Sounds like a real hit! Perhaps I should look more into Case Closed.
