yea ladybird is weird for me.. because its actually not a bird.. its a bug xDD but you american/english call one of your bird-races great tit... so two of them are great tits... so I think I shouldn't wonder about the animal-names xDDD

yeah I know, I never understood it either... we also have the turtle-dove, bullfrog and chicken-hawk.
