A sprite comic I put together, mostly out of curiosity of whether or not I could do it. The art's not so hot as a whole, but i love this joke. Just how sad the life of these kinds of creatures can be. And the real punchline to me will always be the third to last panel. The "oh god" moment those two go through.

A friend and I are working on getting a webcomic on its feet, though it's slow work. It should mostly be a more realistic Mario Bros. setting, darker, but only for the sake of funny. Peach is a bonafide dictator, Yoshis are vicious man-eaters, Mario is a pompous a-hole, Bowser is in a downward spiral on his evil... and such. But the comic mostly'll focus on the working man: the random monsters.
