(Name) bled, scratch marks running up and down his body, trying desperately to erase the words burned into him. The ugly, invisible tattoos stung, were always there, he couldn’t run away from them. He fell to his knees, a painful scream escaping his throat, tears cascading down his face.

“MAKE IT GO AWAY! MAKE IT GO AWAY!”, he sobbed, screaming in agony. The houses around him were all on fire, his own screams drowned out by others. His hands found his hair, pulling it harshly. His head was down, (Name)’s voice had died.

He was the cause of this. The devil child. Don’t go near him, they said. He’s a monster, they said. (Name) snapped, burned the village down. He wished they would just leave him alone. Psychopath, spawn of the devil, the list went on.

“What are you doing?! Don’t go near that guy! He’s the devil himself!”, (Name)’s head sunk lower, his nails burying themselves into his arms, in a desperate attempt to hold himself together. He could hear steps coming closer, making his tearstained face look up.

A black haired male stood in front of him, a look of determination on his face, but his eyes were warm. Who was this person…? ‘Warm…’

“Come on, you’re going to burn up with the rest of the village if you stay here!”, he held out his hand to (Name), his eyes filled with a childish hope. Why…? (Name) hesitated, looking into the other male’s eyes with his own two colored eyes, one (e/c) and one silver.

“Why are you not leaving…? I myself set the village on fire…”, the (h/c) haired male mumbled, trying to hide the fascinated tone in his voice. The brown eyes of the other male didn’t fleet away from (Name)’s own weird, two colored eyes.

“We heard what they called you. It makes sense that you did this.”, he said, finally moving his gaze from (Name)’s, only to glare at the citizen that stared at them. His eyes was intimidating, (Name) could feel a shiver go down his spine, looking at the hand that was still outstretched to him.

“Come on, let’s go”, the brown eyes of the male returned to (Name)’s, making (Name) grab his hand after a couple of seconds. He got pulled up to his bare feet, his shirt soaked in his own blood. As they ran out of the burning village, the black haired male turned to (Name), a smile on his lips.

“I’m Monkey D. Luffy, and I’m gonna be the next pirate king!”
