An unborn baby can sense when their mother is happy, scared, mad, and other emotions. Sometimes, especially for dragons, it can be the opposite, that mom can feel the emotion of his growing child. Whenever there was a storm outside, the loud thunder would startled Lelouch's unborn daughter. He could almost feel her trying to get away from the scary sound, though she couldn't really go anywhere. He knew she was scared, but the only thing he could do was rub his belly and try to calm her down.

I know I've done something similar to this....but I just love Lulu's position. x3
