Description

Sublyme is another OC of mine that happens to be the nemesis of L. She is another one of the gift takers like Whirli. Though Sublyme and Whirli are part of the same company, Sublyme has her own separate operating group. Sublyme and Whirli are in direct competition with each other. Whirli, Postal Girl and Naty form one group, where Sublyme and two others form another group.

Like Whirli, Sublyme's abilities are also synthetic, given by the R&D department of the Gift Takers. At first, when Sublyme undertook the ability tests, the various serums resulted in her losing her body shape and turning into a blob of slime. Though she turned into a blob, she still kept her consciousness and ability to move around. It took her a while to get used to her newly formed body. After a month of training, she was able to shape her body to mimic the human body. Shortly after, she discovered that her body can mimic any substance known on the planet. Her ability allows her to liquify herself into a puddle, or harden herself like a diamond.

Sublyme's body extremely malleable body allows her to stretch and compact herself as well as shapeshift to make herself look identical to any person she sees. At one point, she has mimicked L and pretended to be her for some time. Sublyme also cannot use existing clothes as they do not morph with her. Because of this, Sublyme has to use her own body to fabricate her own clothes. Due to her ability to fabricate a near-unlimited amount of clothing, Sublyme ended up becoming a fashionista and social media influencer like Tamaki.

Sublyme is arguably the best operative in the Gift Takers, as her abilities allow her to easily capture her targets. Since she can mimic functions of machinery, she can capture multiple targets by putting them in a non-combative state (function of the Capture Spheres). Sublyme's team performs at a higher level than Whirli's, though the gap of skill between the two are razor thin.

Other Details:

-Sublyme and Whirli do not like each other

-Sublyme's hair is actually part of her body, which she is free to manipulate. She often uses her hair and splits them to multiple hands.

-She can literally do anything with her body except turn into gas form.

-She expends energy to maintain her form. Her original form is just blue ball/blob

-Sublyme can easily change the color of her hair/clothing/skin at will

-Sublyme can also mimic powers of her target if she knows the composition of their brain

-Sublyme can mimic the functions of any machinery once she learns how they operate

-She can mimic any substance, she can easily change herself into a needle to inject a sedative into her target

-Postal Girl LOVES Sublyme. This was due to Sublyme restraining Postal Girl after she went on a rampage in the Gift Takers' R&D facility for modifying the capture spheres

-Sublyme is terrified of Postal Girl
