So umm...here's my entry.....I honestly don't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning given the most recent submissions to it, but I was told by many close to me to try, so I tried. I probably would have done another one if I had known about it earlier, but unfortunately my schedule is building up so no time to draw much more........Lighting feels very aristocratic to me, so I tried to portray that in her outfit. I was thinking, an aristocrat in a relatively cold area (hence the fur cape) though I wanted arms showing lol. She's holding a dagger if it isn't obvious. Hope people like it :/

Why would you say you don't have a chance to win? This is very good. Matter of fact, Β it attracted me to at least look at it.
If you don't win then so be it.. but ask yourself ~ did you learn anything from doing the painting and entering the contest? Β I sure have. When I see others (as yourself) whom I feel better than I, instead of feeling defeated I feel inspired to push myself to do better. It's the only way we learn and from looking at your other paintings you have talent. So, with that said good luck in the contest.Β Β
