"The flame you wished to re-light in me never went out, Zenos. You simply misunderstood how I react to it. I will never forgive you for spilling her blood," Abyliahct revealed, her eyes sharpening. The dead one blazed like a purple star as her fists clenched at her sides, fury barely contained within her frame.

"I can still smell it," Y'shtola gasping as her shield failed, as the blade cut down, "I can still taste it," the pale archon collapsing from her wound, starting to bleed out.

It filled Abyliahct's mind so intensely even unbidden, and now she was letting it writhe up and coil through her thoughts freely. "Every second," Y'shtola getting desperate healing, "of every minute," Rhalgr's Reach destroyed and all her defenders scattering, "of every hour," her limbs being too heavy to move, her instincts muddied by terror for her beloved, "of every day that I walk I nearly kow to the weight of the guilt at failing to stop your blade," she seethed out through clenching teeth, her face warping and straining with unveiled hatred.

"The same weight that let you knock me on my back that day. I've wanted to slaughter you since that moment," she continued to seethe, her head shaking with the effort of restraining it so close to the surface, "with the unbridled intensity of all my wrath that every enemy thinks they've inspired. I have restrained it for the sake of those I love, for the purpose that divides evil from good. And here you are, having aided me in the very last moment. I owe you a debt," she repeated with some semblance of a calm nod... before her face immediately warped back into that bare-teethed grimace of pure rage, "and I've hated you with the utmost intensity for years."
