Well I really want to see several SNK & CAPCOM chars in 2d sprites. I even gathered some of them:

Very awesome, you did a great job. I like that they are trying to make him look different then Ryu. It was always a joke that they all just wore the same Gi, had different heads and fought the same.Β

Yes, that's the beauty of 3d, it allows to swap models easily, of course I'm most fond of 2d sprites and when it comes to cloned chars I think SNK did a great job: Vice/Mature, Ralf/Clark, Kyo/Shingo, Hanzo/Galford. And the yearly Athena with unique outfit.
Of course they have done some errors as well for example being too Kyo-Centered: Shingo, Kyo-1, Kyo-2, Kusanagi, K'...
And Rasetsumaru/Haohmaru that's just lazy, an evil warrior not related to the hero but looks alike somehow, not even comparable to Shadow/Sonic.
