I've always felt Dwayne Johnson was perfect for Black Adam, and even more now that his acting chops have improved. I'm not crazy about Levi as Shazam. I watched him on the Chuck series and some of his mannerism irked me. I don't think he does action fight scenes well. Even in the Thor movies he was in he looks lanky and awkward in the action scenes. I'm keeping an open mind though. It's not like I have a choice or voice anyway. He's it.

I liked Chuck alot... but... reserving judgment. I've seen some of the fan art depicting Levi and A few make for a good sell, but I'd have to see him in the suit

Dissapointed. They did exactly what I expected, put him in a body suit, While that works for Cavill because he actually has a muscular build, it doesn't for Levi who doesn't. You can make his body look big, but how about his neck and thin face, they don't match. The other thin is why in the world did they ignore the comic version of the costume and go with the animated "kids" version. The chest emblem is too small. All the other costumes stay close to the comics but adapt to the big screen. His, even the cape looks like a dress pinned to his back, and the rest looks too cartoonish for the big screen. Shazam should be a majestic looking character of immense power. From what I've seen and heard so far, I don't think that's what is going to come across.

I reread the New 52 take on him recently on readcomics, it looks like theyre going heavy with that story - shame because Adam weighs heavy into it and it looks like the major conflict will be with Sivana. Theyre insisting its not a muscle suit (and the gauntlets hide the thin wrists...). Thhe cape is not working for me either - Im gathering the idea is a heavy Egypt motif in the overall layout of the suit. lastly, the boots are a bit too cowboyish for me....

It's obviously a muscle suite, and his thin neck is proof. I would have preferred the original look or at least stay close to the new 52 comic version, but to use something so heavily influenced by the animated cartoons, well it does not bode well to me.
