I can answer that for you, that is the beast of darkness from a manga/anime called Berserk, though this version of it is a personalized version of it to make it, in my opinion, more adorable.

Yeah. It is. In the manga though I believe it is meant to be a culmination of the main character Guts's experience with an event in the manga known as the eclipse. It's something I would recommend reading/viewing, but beware it is brutal.

Ah so you know some of the things about him. Good. And yeah it isn't for the faint of heart. But this version of the beast of darkness is far cuter.
