A4 watercolor commission for ~MarcoFischer of his character Leomond BlackHawk, bonvivant and fearless adventurer.I'm so happy with the result, and this drawing is the very first made with my new Cotman brush that finally arrived this week. I want to do moar watercolors now !!! *A*

Is obvious that you have talent using watercolor and this guy sure look handsome but he seems to be modeling the guns rather than been aggressive ^_^ His cape (or rope) is beautiful... can I borrow it?

Can I ask you a question? To create dark color in watercolor, you need to mix two contemporary colors right? I often don't like the result because it's not the rich color that I want... maybe I've put in too many water?

To create dark color i use a color already ready but with less water (like thick paint) and apply it on the base color a bit wet yet, or on a clean water stroke.
Or you can mix the color you want with black or any other that you feel that will dark enough the area for you.
the more water you use it will be clean/thin/lightly and less you use it will be darker/thick
