A watercolor i i did in February of my character Mór. Somehow i wanted to try doing various flower in the background so i imagined she walking among a bunch of them. And i wanted to try something more hard.i took me one week among other works. and lots of break when doing and painting the flower ;A;

For the flowers i painted them with thin watercolor (more water less color) for their base color
and more color (less water more paint) for the shadows and details.
At the time I used a medium brush, but i advise that a 02 or 01 (A thin one_ is better for these details.

Now that you said it i kind agree that somehow it resembles pencil in someparts.
sometimes it may look like pencil, but is due to the canson's texture or doing it more dry and less water, and i dind't made stains at this time when this one was made. My technique was less stained at this time. Today i prefer more stained.
But i like seeing the variety of watercolors types, the more water ones, the more dry ones, the more stained ones, and etc

It have many ways, cause watercolor is the technique and not the paint <3. Cause besides paint you can watercolor with tea, wine, coffee, acrilics, ink, cloth paint and other various things.
