I finally got around to drawing her!Anyways this is my HTF OC Shadey, she's a Fennec Fox, she is shy and tends to hide away from other HTF's, although she makes a very good and sweet friend if you take the time to get to know her, as most HTF's she has a disorder/disability which is psychosis (hears voices in her head), and tends to talk to herself which usually makes HTF's think she's weird so they avoid her, she gets along best with Flippy (his good side) and Flaky.
Oh and she is NOT and WILL NOT ever be paired up with a canon HTF character because i can't stand Mary-sues -_-

However...
Just because you pair an OC with a Canon char doesn't make it an automatic mary sue. o.o People who think that are ridiculous and probably want the characters for themselves.
It's takes a LOOOOOT more to make it a Mary Sue.

I mean...You can pair Shadey with a Canon char if you want, I won't force you.
I also have no idea where you read that, about pairing OC's with canon chars makes them a mary sue.
Mary Sues are cliche, with no flaws, often very beautiful, has magical powers, is immortal, and blah blah blah, more to say. Sometimes they are made to be paired up with a canon char and nothing else. Which REALLLYYY annoys the shit out of me...

Yeah I know what you mean, though IΒ still rather keeping OC's and canon characters
apart. One reason for this is because a lot of the time someone who ships a canon
character with an OC is a fan girl who is basically just inserting themselves in to be
shipped with that character, which just tends to bother me... but also those type of
OC's are usually kinda Mary-sueish.
But if itΒ is a well made OC in a few rare cases being shipped with a canon character
I still usually don't like it (but this is just because of my shipping wall), but I don't
consider it a Mary-sue.
So what I'm saying is; no not all OC's paired with canon characters are Mary-sues,
but a large majority (especially in the HTF fandom) are.Β Which I guess is why I rather
keep OC's and canon separate, and if I ship Shadey with anyone it would be my
girlfriends OC (when/if she makes one)
But seriously i have a deep hatred for HTF-sues... especially *shudders* Flippy-sues
and Sexy-sues... so I'm just keeping any little thing that people consider Mary-sue
away from Shadey (or any of my OC's for that matter)
I don't hate on OC x Canon butΒ I just prefer Canon x Canon, OC x OC and I cannot
stand Mary-sue x Canon

Personally I think this is one of the better HTF OCs - no complicated designs and the good, old, cute style. :3

and yeah i made shure to keep her reasonably simple but interesting, especialy since the HTF fandom is full of annoying mary-sues, gary-stus ect.

I'm kinda wondering if I should leave the HTF fandom just because of those awful OCs :c I mean there are like millions of sues and the fandom just literally went nuts. :T

i know what you mean, i suggest doing what i did dont "get out of the fandom" but join another fandom like i joined the homestuck fandom (i saw you are also into homestuck 
There needs to be more people like us in the HTF fandom, hopefully some day people would follow us and return it to the great fandom it used to be

Well, sues have screwed whole fandom up, and now that I see, *0Mexxcity0 is trying really hard to try to make the fandom come to life again ^^
By the way, Homestuck isn't really the thing that made me think about leaving HTF fandom... it's the HTF fandom itself, as I mentioned. :T

yeah i know, thats why im not so into the HTF fandom anymore i haven't left it... im just not as active in it, and yeah i know there are a few people still trying to fix it ^^
i know, im just saying joining another fandom and being active in that fandom, gives you less time to worry about the HTF fandom... and the little amount of time i do spend in HTF fandom is drawing my own art, looking at good normal fan art of the actual characters from the show, and of course watching the show.
