After a few weeks I tried to break my artistic block and make something decent (at least in my opinion). Dunno how I succeeded. These days I have way less time than before to make anything. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!Made in Chaotica, no postwork. Kindly rendered by triptychaos !

I know very little about Chaotica, or really any fractal generating software, so I don't know how difficult it is to make the software achieve an effect like this. So as a technical achievement, I don't really know how difficult it is to create an image such as this, so it was difficult to rate for the "originality" and "technique" scores, I rated this 3.5 on both because I can't imagine it was too easy, after all most fractal artwork I have seen does not look quite as nice as this.
What I do know for sure is that it is very beautiful. It looks like a big blue nebula, like an image you would see from the Hubble Space Telescope, with red highlights and speckled with black voids. Light colored traces stream throughout the image like electricity breaking through a dielectric material. The way the patches of color fade to black give the image a sense of depth, so it looks almost 3-dimensional.
I believe this work makes for nice background imagery. I would be especially happy to see the artist continue to make more images like this one, and add in other details on top of it, like fish, or space ships, or planets.
