This looks like an abstract and somewhat romanticist genre of landscape painting. Dramatic landscape painting spliced through mirrors! Impressive fractal work.

I'm afraid I don't know anything at all about making fractal art, so all I can say to you is WOW. This looks SO cool. The colors are gorgeous and blend together so well. Puts me in mind of the film The Revenant. Really gorgeous composition. Going in my favorites. Β

Hi there! I'm currently participating in Critmas 2016 for #TeamFairies . Our task is to supply meaningful critique to art around DA between Dec 24th and Jan 6th. I hope you're having a lovely Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year!
-----------------------
The Critique:
My first thought was "ooh, this is a nice abstract painting"... Then I read your description. This is a fractal!? Wow! I love how you've achieved a brush stroke effect in this fractal. That same effect really helps emphasize the movement in the waterfall. Β The dark mountains above really help give a sense of scale, as well as the rocks at the bottom suggesting the edge the water is plummeting from.
The only part which feels a little jarring to me is the circle effect at the top-right. In an area full of sharp jagged edges it feels out of place; and unlike the swirling shapes in the bottom left, seems to be a complete circle.
Overall though this is a really excellent piece! I even love the little line of red in the middle to suggest a beach/shoreline on the far side.

I love your work. The way you use lines and color is truly astounding. Would have never thought to put red or pink in a work like this but the way you mix it in gives a gorgeous effect. Β

This is fascinating. All the different structures and lines give the eye so much to follow.
I admit, I was a little distracted by the circles, but it gives such a unique feel to the picture, I ended up liking them anyway.
Amazing work.
