Description
The tiefling Corzipan grew up alone in the streets, a fate far too common among tiefling children. He was quick and clever and very charming. When he couldn't earn his supper by performing odd jobs, he'd pick a few pockets here and there. When he turned 20, his skills with locks and traps got him a job with a small band of adventurers.

Corzipan and his employers took on more than they could handle when they decided to raid an ancient magical vault. Though they managed to get quite far into they place, the entire band fell one by one to various deadly magical traps. Pan was the lone survivor, and although he did not die, he also didn't make it out of the vault.

The young man's fate was very unexpected. Poor Corzipan accidentally set off a polymorph spell that transformed him into a goldfish, and teleported him into a nearby viewing pool. The pool was also sustained by powerful magics, causing the fish inside to exist agelessly without need for food. Fortunately for Corzipan his memory was also that of a fish, so when hundreds of years passed by, he didn't notice.

A few hundred years later, a far more successful band of explorers entered the vault. These heroes managed to disable all magical traps, and even returned Corzipan to his true tiefling form. These new friends were kind enough to help Corzipan out of the ruins and help him settle in to a new life in a nearby city.

In time, Corzipan met new companions and fell back into the life of an adventurer. He met another tiefling; a beautiful woman called Pippen whom he quickly and happily married.

Corzipan also made a very interesting discovery - centuries of existing within an area of high magic had infused his body with rare eldritch powers. He has since become a warlock, and although his dark flames could potentially be used to harm others, Corzipan only uses his new abilities for good. He and Pippen serve the Goddess of Joy and live a very exciting and happy life together.

Corzipan is my husband skullard 's original character. He first appeared as an NPC back in 2007, and was so cute and fun that he was upgraded to a proper PC a year and a half later. I tried to create a digital version of Corzipan back in February . I'm happier with this newer version.
