For my birthday, I decided to do something different... something fun, unique! So, I made myself in clothes that I've mentioned or so on. I've been a DeviantArter for about 13 years now. Almost half of my life so uh, I made this account when I was pretty young. I didn't really do anything on it until 2013-2014 when I posted my very first piece of artwork. It was a JuniorGeneral art piece mostly Third Reich pieces. Wasn't that interesting at the time tbh. I came across Tounushi's base and drew my first "egghead" uniform around early 2014. Following that, I drew increasingly better pieces of artwork going from really shitty drawings to somewhat okay stuff.The two oldest people that had been in this stuff for around the same time I had been elected to make bases. I haven't mostly because I'm not interested in drawing an anatomical base. I decided to do something different which was make medals and eventually have my medal chart include all the nations in the world starting with the ones that were somewhat not done that often but were desired (e.g. DDR, USSR. This was 2015/2016. WWII stuff was still more popular.) and at this date. I'm still chugging along and I know one day the medal chart will have it's full medal-capabilities. So, thank you all for being there and enjoying my medals!

Well done, not so young man, says an old git like me. I started at the same time by the sounds of the use of the Tounushi egg head base. That was all we had until Elmengu and Grand Lobster King created their individual bases and it's just got better! More bases/templates that cover alsorts of military timelines and periods. What you wear jackboots?

I used to wear jungle boots often since I wear camo sometimes but I stopped since the old boots I wore were falling apart (Vietnam era US jungle boots that I found at my great grandmothers place). I switched now to tennis shoes although the legacy version of myself will always wear those boots.
I often wore ACU and some other camos here and there (e.g. Russian Digital Flora, ERDL camo) but now I've been wearing flecktarn as I have noticed that it blends in a lot better around these parts. Well, the russian digital flora camo does too!
It's somewhat better in my neck of the woods, but there has been 5,000 cases in my state of North Carolina. However I've noticed that a lot of people around here aren't taking social distancing and other life-saving measures seriously. They don't take it seriously then they wonder why they are sick.

North Carolina, have they lifted the lockdown there? Keep hearing Trump bullshitting about getting the economy going, his shares must be going down or summat! It's only for the elections in November though. Way I see it, not much choice one old middle/upper class man [Biden] and a Trump-orange faced goon. So what the hell is gonna change. Not my country but...
Flecktarn does work very well in wooded areas, North Carolina [!?}, Russian Digital Flora tends to blob out into a green shape at distance, from my experience.
Let's hope the idiots don't cause more Corona cases! Stay safe!
