Description The R-1 Autoloader Rifle was introduced to the Carolina Confederacy in 1934 as a way to replace the aging bolt action rifles, the R-1 Autoloader Rifle took advantages of new technology and some that had came out in the WWI (but were overlooked at the time). Through effortless research the R-1 Autoloader came into be.

The R-1 utilizes a intermediate rifle cartridge rather than a full-power one as a way of lessening the recoil and all models were equipped with two modes of fire (semi-automatic, full auto), the rifle operated via a short-stroke piston and was gas-operated. The following variants are shown in the depiction prior to the making of R-2 Autoloader Rifle.

R-1ME - Used for Sniper duties.
R-1 - The traditional rifle that was issued from 1935 to 1984 before being replaced by the R-2.
R-1C - The Compact version of the R-1 used for paratroopers and tank crewmen.
R-1CS - Suppressed Compact version of the R-1 used for stealth missions and the alike, utilizes subsonic ammo but can fire without it.

The Rifle has been used from 1935 to 1984 as mentioned before and was displayed prominently through WWII and the Korean War. The R-1 Autoloader Rifle has been a subject of debate due to its position of history with some scholars debating whether it was the first assault rifle or a battle rifle, the Carolina Confederacy Military termed it as an Infantry Rifle at its introduction and did not term it any differently.

Most historians who aren't wrapped up in the gun mechanics tend to argue that the first assault rifle battle was during the Battle of the Bulge when a Carolina Confederacy soldier utilizing a R-1C engaged in combat with a Wehrmacht soldier who had an StG-44 (it is reported that both soldiers had full-auto engaged on both rifles). Besides history and debates, the R-1 has inspired a lot of rifles with it's unique top-sided charging handle and it's gas operation.
