If they could just tweak the faces and stop using the same front hair, maybe TDA wouldn't be Miku basically cosplaying every character in existence. But eh, imagine how tired we are.

I use to always love TDA's model's so much. i edited his models first before i started making stuff of my own.
To this day i love tda's simple approach with few polygons and he has a great style.
Though i'm sick of horrible edits mixed with sim's4 rips or other game rips where the styles clash. or cosmetic items slapped onto his beautiful model that don't match what so ever, or have horrible texture or no texture at all. Like black leggings with the leg's nearly a solid black.
I do love the style he model's his body's. But i don't care for the face's, definitely much more expressive face options out there, that i think is much cuter.
With TDA modeling Kizuna Ai though, i can clearly see he has way more talent beyond just these models made from 10 years ago, that are still hyped up today.

Of what I have understood reading the comments, this place is not for me and I really shouldn't talk here. But I really had to say one thing and that is how does strict rules reduce hate towards the TDA style?(I'm not being rude to any people. I'm just asking politely). I think all models look good in their own way and none of the models should be hated. And I think a lot of people like TDA ( including me) is because hundreds of TDA bases are available every where so people can make their desired model. I love almost all the models shown in the pic but I think people shouldn't be hating TDA that much because of it being so easy to edit and stuff. Plus these are just my opinions so you guys are not allowed to attack me ok?

I used to be TDA mod, and to be honest, i like Tda style, BUT! Not tda styled models released by unofficial editors (sure there are FEW exceptions), but models created by TDA him/her-self (Miku V4x, Miku Append, Teto Kasane,Teto Append).
I don't like TDA because it's mainstream and popular. I like tda for it's simplicity yet high quality, for it's very huge amount expressions you can choose from, for slightly unrealistic yet neat physics and it's high quality rigging.
TDA Miku Append has way less polygons than YYB, Kuroyu, Api or Muubu, REM, etc... (15k-20k polys maybe, and most of the polys holds face for it's expression range [32k polys is Lowpoly maximum]).
In my opinion TDA style itself shouldn't be hated. There are 2 categories of TDA for me: Original TDA by Tda and TDA made by Country MMDC.
Country MMDC is heavily attracted to TDA style (and most of it's users are kids), and it MIGHT be because how benevolent Tda is. Tda doesn't even care if you break his/her rules, and that might be why people treat TDA style this way.
Many many crappy OCs (no offense, and if you're offended i don't care) are being made almost EVERYDAY, and in my opinion that's why is TDA hated in general. NOT because of it's style, but because CMMDC ruined it's reputation.
In conclusion, if Tda made more strict rules for his/her models, TDA style COULD, but might not be as hated as it is today.
I just like TDA, but let's face it, We are the fault behind TDA style's hatred.

I too hate TDA models, but when they're not as shiny and blinding, and instead much softer, they can be pretty nice to look at

Eu adoro os modelos do TDA mas eu sei q ele n é o único modelador aqui, sim, eu só edito TDA e LAT pq eles são famosinhos, aí dá pra achar um monte de partes. E aliás, tem um monte de modelo bacana aí, e até tem aquela Miku com cabelo realista q eu to procurando até agr XD

Since I make my own characters, they are just the easiest to edit, and they also have the most downloadable parts. (and I think they're very pretty...)
Moreover, I definitely can not use pmx, except to convert pmx to pmd. I try to use a Sour base, because I find them beautiful ... but the conversion to pmd delete facials (WTF ??) I can not create facials, except for a few little tricks (put an accessory in the hand / on the face / on the head and make it disappear, in particular) so in the end, I got angry after the software, I try again on different bases (there are only 5 different ... thanks the choice) they all do the same thing. I tried to put the name of facials in English before converting, it did not change anything. So, the character does not open the mouth on the motions ... well I gave up and I took a TDA ...
Also, some people almost attacked me because I used TDA and "as a real user of MMD, you MUST use animasa, it's a shame!" WTF? I find the animasa horrible. It's my personal choice, I understand that some poeple like them. But you do not have to "force" me to use something I do not like:
There are a lot of styles of models that I like, but impossible to find bases, or they only exist in pmx and glitch when I convert them in pmd, so I stay on the TDA .. .

Almost everyone uses TDA, whether it be an OC, a character from another game, an edit, or maybe even from real life, as well.
I mean, sure. If you're going to take a TDA head and then modify it so it looks "similar" to the character you're aiming for, then go ahead.
But if you're going to take Miku's head, slap it on a base, slap clothes on without proper rigging, slap physics that aren't even moving right + huge lag and then call it an OC... please, the door is to your left. Don't get me started with so called "GUMI" or "Haku" append that wears Miku's append, too. That's just messed up.
That being said, if you're going to attack us for this, go ahead. But our opinion still stands.
