Not everyone hates creepers. Some believed that the conflict between humans and creepers stemmed from a simple misunderstanding and both parties descended into an endless loop of revenge. At some point a few fresh-minded people attempted to engage in negotiations with the creepers. The meeting was an explosive failure.

I like to think that creaper's are reality pertrusions so awesome that thier awesomeness combined with your lack of awesomeness causes reality around the creeper to implode. thus creating the ilusion of the creeper exploding as he's torn to bits.
This is suported by the fact that anyone awesome playing the game is not blown up by creepers.

There is a mod in which people can play as the creeper. I guess everyone can be awesome now.

heh. Yeah I saw that. I've used similar mods for other games and I'd like the mod better if turning into a monster makes that kind of monster no longer want to attack you. So like if turning into a spider made spiders folow you and be freindly like wolves and wolves start attacking you.

I can sort of see the creeper mod being used like L4D or something. Some people play normally while others play as the enemies.
An adventure map as a skeleton could be interesting. Gotta watch out for those patches of sunlight coming through.

Yes true you'd be avoiding the light rather than the dark.
Mabe monsters could somehow see in the dark better too.
We should see notch with this idea.

It sounds like something that would be nice for the monster siege game mode. Could be worth suggesting when Mojang starts working on that. If building is allowed in that game mode, I hope some kind of gravity applies to all blocks and need pillars and support beams to stay up. Otherwise everyone will just build houses in the sky. Creepers could blow up support pillars and make the whole thing come crashing down.

I can already see it. Weegees staring at me through my windows. Leering at me from behind dark corners in caves. Jumping onto me from dark holes in the ceili- oh, fudge.

I have a plan that when I get minecraft, I'm making a little area just for creepers. If anything else appears, I'll carefully go in and kill it and get out before the creeper (if there were any) decides to go suicidal. xD; That way I have an adorable farm of creepers. I think they're cute... if only they didn't explode. xDD
