Alcyone finds most of his time being spent with his best friend, Marlowe, and the young Harvester wouldn't have it any other way -- his days are spent foraging and learning his trade and waiting to meet his friend when her duties are done... but one day changes the pace when Marlowe brings him along for a fun little hunt.
Bunnies are their objective, that's simple enough, but his focus seems... compromised, lost in watching as Marlowe effortlessly takes the point after a scent. Alcyone ignores the strange warmth in his chest, his face, and accepts the sudden sheepishness as nerves; his friend standing all strong and brave and beautifully lit by the sun has no influence, really.
