This little ring is so cute and sweet ... i bookmarked your shop too cuz you have lots of very sweet little treasure. I think my sister would go insane over this ring so off to count me pennies ... awesome work.

That really is beautiful. It never occurred to me rings could be made that way.

Thank you! It took me awhile to start making rings (well). Takes some practice, and they're a lot different from other types of jewelry.

I really want to go into more jewelry making but I need a better job to fund it. When I first started, I didn't have a lot of the right beads. Now I know what I want, so I have to shop for that.

Yeah, getting started is really the hardest part. I've accumulated so many different tools/supplies and I sort of take them for granted now. I have to mourn for a few days every time a pair of pliers breaks or something. lol.

Haha, yeah. I've glanced through lots of Beadwork magazines. When I can I'll start buying or even subscribing eventually. As a newbie it looks so advanced and complicated.

I've never been too interested in magazines because there are a lot of free instructions and tutorials online. You should check out fusionbeads: [link] and artbeads: [link] They have lots of good beginner tips. There are also a lot of tutorial videos on youtube if you search for a specific technique (here's one I used to learn how to make rings: [link] ).

Sorry if that's more info than you were looking for... lol... but hope it helps and inspires you!

Yeah, but I get to see featured talent also. I haven't bought any magazines, but I like to browse them when waiting on people. They have tutorials also. It's nice when I want to get away from the computer.

The links are great though, I'm always looking up tutorials for things. It will definitely help.
