This is a doll I made for a Group Project of The Repaint Society, a Group of doll artists. We were making OOAK dolls ofthe beloved characters of the ABC TV Show "Once Upon A Time". My character was the saviour Emma Swan as portrayed by Jennifer Morisson. She has a full facial repaint with acrylic paints and hadmade clothes.

Repaints that are made after real life people and not cartoon characters are a lot harder to do in my opinion. But you did great.

I agree... it's a completey different technique and I am no expert in realistic repaints and still have to learn a lot. I'm very happy that you like my Emma!

Great job! Facial details are beautiful.
Are you going to do Regina next? She's my favorite.

Thank you so much!!! Regina is my favorite as well, but she has a very uncommon face shape and I haven't found a doll yet that can be used for her. My next one will be Snow White/Mary Margaret

You're Welcome. Ahhh, I see. I thought they had a doll for her and you would just work your magic on her.

Heavens! I see what you mean now. That doesn't even look like her by a mile!
However.....

Apparently it CAN be done. That one is gorgeous and, of course, looks like her.
Here is another:

But that's it. Those are the only two I came across that at least look like her. The first one is better. Must be a custom mold.

The first photo is a super rare doll that is very expensive and hard to get. The other two are repaints of Tonner dolls, but I don't think they look like her, the face shape is wrong. The repaints are amazing, technically, no doubt, but I don't see Regina in them... It's more the hairstyle and outfit that makes the illusion, not the face itself.

Hmmm, they are pretty close. But, being a doll expert, you probably see things that I don't. If makeup and hairstyle is an illusion, it is a pretty darn good one! That being said, do you think you could have a better face mold made up? (I am sure that would be expensive though).

what kind of brush do you use for the eyes, they are so small, yet clean.
