Description
So, I decided to play around with the dragon model in blender to see if I could add a flex animation. I don’t quite know HOW it works, but it works. I’ll probably be messing around with this sort of stuff in the meantime, since neck/stomach bulges are the bee’s knees, yo.They still need some workarounds due to texture oddities but at least they’re functional!

Aah, I'm a tad unfamiliar with other 3D modelling stuff such as 3DS or Maya, so I dunno if the same terms can apply (but I'll give it a shot in Blender terms!)
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles… Here's a rather large and super helpful guide if you're looking to port to SFM! If not, then you can ignore it.
It helps to think about this like it's an "animated" piece on a notepad. Y'know. You draw a buncha stuff and then flip through the pages real quick and it gives the appearance of animation.
Now... think of these bulges as circles on the throat. The ring of the circle is the part that has the least bulge, while the center point is where all the "weight" is.
I started with a single shape key which was a simple bulge at the start of the throat! The second key I put in was the same thing, but a bit further down the throat (I placed the second circle's center point on the first circle's ring.) Repeat it as much as you want (or have space to.) Now, when you play back your shape keys, do it in a wave.
Set key 1 to 100%, key 2 to 50%... then key 1 to 50% and key 2 to 100% and key 3 to 50%.... then key 1 to 0% and key 2 to 50% and key 3 to 100% and key 4 to 50%.... .....and so on. When you play back your animation, it should look a little something like I had in the .gif. If not, then keep experimenting until it looks right! :V

Interesting. When I have more time I will absolutely explore this!
I would love to be able to create stuff for the community

It's definitely a fun thing to do, especially if you've got the interest.
If you really wanna go deep, the sky's the limit. You could model and texture your own things and become the mighty lord to rule everything you've ever wanted!
...Or so I've dreamed about myself. x:

I know my comment was in February 13th but seriously does this come in a bigger resolution it's so small I can barely enjoy it and I do wear glasses I don't suppose if you can make it at least a 1,000 resolution that would be extremely helpful and really appreciated
