I used MS Paint and GIMP for this tutorial. I drew the mane and dress and everything on Shimmer in paint and also used it to put the tutorial together, but most of it used GIMP. It is free to download so don't worry about it being expensive! It doesn't really slow down my computer either, and it's safe.I really hope this helps you guys, I spent hours making it. XD Literally though. Originally it was for Bebe because she wasn't sure how to make crystal ponies like me, so I thought I'd share it with you all too! Here it is! It is VERY big and long, just a heads up. I hope you all understand everything.

I only put 'look in the favorites' because originally I was only speaking to Bebe.
I hope this helps a lot. I used the base by ~BronyBase and the texture was by ~Ichy-L-Slanimirc as stated in the tutorial.

That's exactly what I thought! I've seen a few but they didn't make much sense to me, and I have a bit of GIMP experience so I thought I would make one that actually explains it for those who are like me and don't understand very vague details.

I've tried using other crystal textures and even though some of them are more show accurate than your's, I find that your's always ends up looking better and it works much better. ^^
