Mezzotint, 4 in square. In here because it technically is a drypoint technique...Part of a series I am currently working on in the 400 level printmaking class. Basically, my ideas, and happen to use the techniques of etching they teach this year. Very open class, and I quite like it. I will update this one when I find time to take a picture of the edition, which I haven;t gotten around to photographing yet. this is a more final proof - the edition was 16 copies on creme German etching paper

It is very difficult to see much in this, but the shapes I can make out are mysterious.

There is more there - have the edition done now, just need to get a picture. There's a bit more light in those....is still a lot of black though.
