It's been a little while since I first opened the contest back in May, but the contest closed a few days ago! I reviewed all of the entries with some anonymous judges that I know in real life and are not a part of the community, to avoid bias in judging.
We judged based on how accurate the drawing was to the character's physical description, personality description, and amount of effort we feel was put into each piece. The rules of the contest were also put into consideration, obviously ^^ It was beyond difficult to pick a winner, and we had to stop and rejudge multiple times due to ties. After all of that, though- we have finally come to a conclusion.
Please don't be upset or angry if your entry isn't picked! There will be more contests in the future and more chances to win. :'D

Everything about this piece is absolutely gorgeous-
The adore the anatomy- the lining style- the shading- the lighting- just everything honestly
Its so in character- I could definitely see her striking that pose!
I love the way you draw the little flames too
