I'm usually not a big fan of this type of shot, where it's been altered to have white and black with a small sense of color. However, here it's beautiful. Love it!

great moment of course but effect is not everything.. it's my personal taste but i think to underline the red scarf wasn't really necessairy. the photo doesn't work because it is red, it's the lighning and surroundings that create this atmosphere here.
i think b/w tones would do a great job without the red element in it. another thing is that this is definately not architecual photography, but more "city life" or street, because the focus is not on structures or design but on the person and the lighning. it's as if you would post a portrait in landscape photography, just because you did it outside on the countryside... see what i mean ?
