Waaah I made it QuQ!
The deadline for this contest is just in a few hours and I literally worked the past days
just on this piece, but now I'm done
I drew Baby in a beautiful flowergarden drinking tea with her panda-plushie friend ^-^
I just can't believe how cute this character is! I really really enjoyed drawing her,
especially the background, now I finally found a coloringstyle for roses quq <3
~ ~
Anyways, I'd be really happy if you could check out the detail I put in the drawing, I tried to make it as detailed as possible!

Just wanted to let you know that I made a painting of "Baby" last night and tried to replicate the orbs you have on the roses in watercolor. It's not anything near yours, but it sure is interesting! XD

The colors are so very vibrant and lush! It certainly feels like a cheerful sunny day.
I adore the color transitions on the roses on the left boarder of the composition and the orb highlight effect and glitter effect you used in them, repeating throughout the picture in carefully calculated places. While not realistic, they feel like they belong in the composition and don't hinder me from understanding what I'm seeing.
The way that you repeated the orb shape of the highlights into the orb shapes of "Baby"'s smaller angel wing feathers does appear a bit confusing, especially considering how similar they are to the orb shapesin the cushion's stuffing. They read less like feathers and more like circular puffs of something lilac in color when looking specifically at them. Once looking back a little further, within the context of the rest of the image, I can interpret them as smaller feathers with some resistance. However, this choice does create a very nice triangle (of said orb shapes of feathers and stuffing) that helps frame "Baby" as the focus of the picture.
Your color choices and style make this artwork so very unique and interesting. I sit here swimming around it with my eyes, noticing all the charming little details that accompany your style, such as the little white heart highlights in her blushing cheeks and the green of her vibrant eyes, the cute little pastel birds lining the cutely-crafted wood fence and down the right side of the work, and the shine on the edge of "Baby"'s tea cup. You certainly put a lot of thought into both the composition and each element of it to make them work together both visually and conceptually. It is an artistic quality to be cherished!
The fact "Baby" having a tea party is, of course, a highly appropriate concept, and sharing it with her dear little Panda Plush is just so sweet~ He seems to think so too!
One thing that certainly impresses me most is how you executed "Baby"'s dress. Even though you used very saturated bright blue with hints of peachy pinks, we still read it easily as a white dress due to the coloring technique you used. I adore it so! I've never seen something like it before and it works amazingly well! The line work of the dress is just as compelling with so many swooping curves and varying directions in waves, it makes my eyes dance over the picture, yet it is still understandably static and airy. Her dress seems to be just as playful as "Baby" is! haha
Out of all the elements of this artwork, I think your style really is what pulls it through above the others! It appears you really put a lot of yourself into this work and had fun with it, which comes out in the picture. You made very wise and creative choices with your art, flourishing in some conventions, and strategically breaking them in others. Some parts, I feel with more time, you could have refined more, but they in no way hinder a viewer from being impressed with your craft. It is the other, more important parts, that make me believe that this is true because of how skillfully you executed them. I look forward to see more of your art and anticipate what amazing things you'll be able to create in the future.

I surely had so much fun darwing this, and I really learned so much drawing this, but It put me to my limits, I struggled really hard coloring it tho quq
