And another pointless "toy sales" joke, why is the fandom still doing those when it has been proven long ago that rarely ever anything that is seen in the show was motivated by Hasbro and its toy designers and that the show always comes first and then only the toys? It hasn't been funny when Twilight got her castle and it isn't funny now. It's just a degrading insult to the show.
The Treehouse of Harmony won't even get a toy. We would know if it would by now. And even if it were to get one at some point in the future (and I wish it would!), then it still wouldn't be a Hasbro mandate that the Treehouse of Harmony is in the show, just Hasbro looking through scripts and see what has potential for a toy.

Bringing back the Tree of Harmony in the VERY NEXT EPISODE to the one that it got destroyed in takes away all of the consequence for killing it in the first place. Just like when someone "dies" in a show and then somehow comes back later. It makes the initial death absolutely pointless.

The elements are still gone, so it's not completely pointless.

We don't know that they're still gone. The Tree grew them in the first place, who's to say it doesn't grow them again. But instead of the Mane 6 being able to bring the Elements back like they did in Season 1 Episode 2 (after Nightmare Moon destroyed them) or how the Mane 6 used the Friendship Magic after returning the Elements in Season 4 (the rainbow power whatever) the "students" are "called" to "fix" the Tree. Not the Mane 6. Not the characters who embody the Elements. Not the current Bearers of those Elements. Pointless characters that serve no purpose whatsoever.

First of all, it's "elude" not "allude". Second, it didn't elude me, but it is still garbage writing. Especially considering the shitty "school" that they shit out which brought them together in the first place. 1000 years passed between Luna's banishment and the Mane 6 receiving the Elements. That's 1000 years that there were either, no bearers at all, or the same bearers for that entire period. Now they're shoehorning in 6 characters for no reason in 8 seasons (without an established timeline of passing years) which means the Mane 6 were only the bearers for what, 5 years? Maybe 6? Why? Why build them up to be great characters for five seasons and then shit on literally every aspect that made them great characters?

Which school of friendship did you go to? Because I've never heard of one before. You can't learn friendship from a book. That's why Twilight had to go to Ponyville in Episode 1 of the series. For some reason, the writers thought it would be a great idea to make a school of friendship. Despite the fact that that's not how friendship works. You learn friendship by talking with others and bonding over common interests. That's literally how the Mane 6 became friends. That's how literally every group of friends EVER has happened. Until Season 8, apparently. And guess what happened in the FIRST EPISODE. The "students" skipped fucking school and became friends with each other by BONDING over their common interests. The school WAS NOT REQUIRED. It served literally no purpose whatsoever. But sure, because YOU claim it "wasn't garbage" that automatically makes it so.

You have no clue what you are talking about. While I've never heard of the exact term "school of friendship", many schools have special programs that focus on teaching social skills, which is exactly what the school of friendship does. As a matter of fact, for a period of time I did go to such a school, but my personal life is none of your business, it's just ironic that your assumptions were wrong from the get go. If you bothered to do research for a change instead of sticking to your ignorant smugness you would be able to find examples of some. Here is some specific curricula: k12engagement.unl.edu/strategy… It's all beside the point though as it's not supposed to be mimicking life, it's expanding on the core themes of the show. The idea of the alternative schooling system was probably inspired by Montessori schools, also a real thing.
Your notion that social skills cannot be taught in a classroom is not supported by science: journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/1… Note that this review was done back in the 70s. The reason it hasn't been done more is not because it's not effective or because it's a revolutionary idea, but because people have been slow to realize the importance of it. You're also completely missing the point of the school if you think it's reducing teaching friendship to learning from a book, that's a strawman characterization if I ever saw one. The whole point of the Season 8 opener was moving away from strictly book based learning and focusing on the organic friendship that formed among the student six. They did not do away with bonding over common interests, they are just supplementing it with taught social skills. You're only finding problems with it because you're looking for problems.
"And guess what happened in the FIRST EPISODE. The "students" skipped fucking school and became friends with each other by BONDING over their common interests." It's so funny that you were so close to getting the point only to completely miss it completely because you stubbornly insist the show is wrong and you are right. Your claim the school was unnecessary for their friendship is completely wrong - if it wasn't for the school, they would never have met each other, and bringing the different races together was one of the explicit goals of the school. Finally, just because they didn't need the instruction from the school to form a friendship doesn't mean what the school taught didn't help them. Narrative aside, realistically it would. One interesting point is it's been found that teaching social skills doesn't just help students in relationships, they perform better academically as well.
In conclusion, you're an insufferable bitch who whines about everything that doesn't conform to their exceptions, and you need to get over it

And Beanzoboy , if you read this:
He is right, though. I've seen you before, you complain about pretty much every episode and you never appear to be satisfied with a single one. Ganondox has explained you with quite a few explanations for why the School of Friendship not only makes sense and works, but is a great idea, with a thoughtful approach and a rather deep analyzis of the entire concept of a friendship school.
That you reject it regardless shows that the only reason why you complain is because you WANT to complain, not because there's an actual reason to do so, and that you are one of those stubborn people who keep clinging to their opinion when being proven wrong, because for some reason, realizing that their opinion is false is something they hate to do. One of those people who always want to be in the right and insist to be in the right, even though they aren't.
For the insults, they might not be the most diplomatic approach to a conversation, but with people like you who are so stubborn and too immature to admit when they are in the wrong with something and who keep sullying the reputation of the show against any sound or reason, I also can't blame someone for calling you an "insufferable bitch". There is a point where saying that is just an insult and a point where you have successfully earned this insult.
I have blocked you for this very reason, for this insufferable behavior of constantly shitting on MLP: FiM and badmouthing it.

None of the Mane 6 are teachers. How do you propose AJ teaches "Honesty" by kicking a tree? You can tell someone what Honesty IS, but you can't make them an honest person. That is a choice they have to make for themselves. Funny, for all your blustering, I didn't see anything in those links that said "honesty class" or "kindness class". Why is that, do you think? Oh, and the reason the Mane 6 were made ambassadors to other races IS TO CREATE FRIENDSHIPS. That's literally what fucking ambassadors DO. You are right, though, if the writers hadn't used this shitty "school" idea to force these characters together, they would have had to think of a GOOD idea for them to do it. But that would have been too hard. Or, maybe they wouldn't have wasted their time at all and actually wrote some good episodes instead of introducing new characters for no good reason. The writers constantly introduce new characters and don't do ANYTHING good with the hundreds of characters that already exist.
Not only that, but the Mane 6 were built up FOR YEARS to have goals that they then achieved, only to have those things ripped away from them. Rarity spent the whole show wanted to be a famous fashion designer that owns (and especially operates) a boutique. Only for her to have to then let employees run the stores she spent years achieving so she can waste her time in the "school". Rainbow is a Wonderbolt. She wouldn't have enough time to not only practice with her team but to also spend hours every single day "teaching" at this "school". AJ is a farmer. Farmers spend upwards of 14 hours EVERY DAY on their farm doing chores, but she's supposed to be able to spend every day at a "school" as well? And no, saying "Big Mac will take up the slack and do her chores for her" is bullshit. Pinkie can't work at Sugarcube Corner (you know, to pay the Cakes back for letting her live upstairs) if she spends all day at the "school". Fluttershy can't take care of her critters if she's in "school" all day.
And after all of that, we don't know that the "students" are learning actually useful subjects, or if they'll have to spend 4 years at this "school" just to then go to an actual school afterwards. And when you have three children that already know EVERYTHING your "school" can teach, (and they'd NEVER been in those "classes") you have a "school" that serves no purpose whatsoever.
In conclusion, you're an incompetent twit who can't handle other people calling out your bullshit, and you need to get over it.

You didn’t tell me to link Honesty withwhatever, you just keep moving the goalposts whenever I prove you wrong and then act like you were right along, even though you do absolutely nothing to support your argument. That’s what makes you an unsufferable bitch. First it was about the elements, then you diverted to the idea of a school of friendship, and now you’re whining about the mane six’ being qualified to teach. Nope, not going to play this game and indulge your awful behavior. I’m not wasting my time arguing with you anymore, you’re a obnoxious condescending shithead and an all around awful person. I saw the one thing you have upload is a journal whining about someone calling out, you were clearly the one at fault but you’re begging for sympathy because you’re a little bitch.
PS: As someone who personally knows several ambassadors I can tell you that is NOT in fact the function of ambassadors, but of course you’de just keep talking out your ass without doing any research.

When you prove me wrong, I'll let you know. I haven't moved the goal posts even slightly. I have to tell you to "link Honesty with whatever"? What the fuck do you think the Mane 6 "teach" in the "school"? AJ "teaches" Honesty, Fluttershy "teaches" Kindness, etc. Did you not pay any attention at all? This is exactly why I said you can't "teach" friendship in a classroom, and THIS is what makes the "school" a stupid idea. The Mane 6 not being teachers (having no idea how to teach at all, and having established years dedicated to achieving certain dreams which no longer matter) just ads more questions for why the writers thought it would be a good idea to begin with. Seems like the only thing you're able to do is fling insults. Maybe if you had a counter point you wouldn't need to rely on them so much.

You clearly didn't, otherwise you wouldn't have gone on about the nonsense about what friendship skills could be after I gave explicit examples of social skills curriculums. All you're doing is further reinforcing the fact that you're a little bitch, take your own advice about growing up. How long has it been now and you're still whining about this?

You're literally the only one here whining about anything. You have been since your first comment. Maybe you should go back and take those social skills curriculums again, because obviously you didn't learn anything from them (big surprise). Also, none of those social skills curriculums have anything to do with the "Friendship School" in the show. The "Friendship School" I'm actually talking about. Which means bringing up things that have nothing at all to do with the subject of discussion, and then whining when I point out that they're not the same, just makes you look less competent than you originally appeared to be. That's quite the feat, I assure you.

It's not worth my time, it's extremely obvious we aren't even going to come into agreement. I'm not whining, I'm just making fun of you because you're dumb as hell and have such a shitty personality. That's funny, when I responded to your "points" (which had nothing to do with the argument) you said I was "moving the goalposts". And then you claim I "ignored most of the argument" when I responded to every "point" you've made. Sure, you've got nothing but insults, but I've got "such a shitty personality". Keep telling yourself that. That's what we call "projecting." It's pretty obvious you don't give a damn about what I think. You like getting pissed off and launching into tirades and then ignoring all logical thought. Just remember, when you stop replying and this "conversation" ends, you'll still have to live with yourself. Projecting onto others doesn't remove it from you.
