I don't really know if you celebrate it as much as we do in Sweden, but- it's a very old yet an important event here! uvu It'd been so fun today, a lot of celebrating and dressing up as Lucia (Lucy)!♥︎ I really get calm yet exciting when I listen to the swedish song for St Lucy's day! ;; ♥︎
Anyway, I decided to draw Freya with the candle crown- because I usually draw something related to this day ;; ♥︎ She's crying because she's a baby //shoot

This has got to be my favorite of all your drawings, its so beautiful with all of the soft shading and just the blue!!
And Freya is so flawlessly gorgeous, I think only you could capture that with your amazing artwork. //dies

St. Lucy's Day, I've heard not so much about it. nwn" Is it a Christian holiday? Whatever the/your religion, I hope it was fun for you! <3 The picture sure is pretty, and this getting done in four hours is pretty impressive!

It can certainly be considered as a Christian holiday since it's celebrated along with advent♥︎ But in Sweden it's more of a Cultural tradition uvu
In the old almanac, Lucia Night was the longest of the year. It was a dangerous night when supernatural beings were abroad and all animals could speak- this is where Lucia comes in. Lucia was an ancient mythical figure with an abiding role as the bearer of light in the dark Swedish winters, thus why she have the candle crown♥︎ It sure was fun, baking and a lot of singing uvu♥︎♥︎

Cultural traditions are just as fun to celebrate as Christian holidays I'm sure, and St. Lucy's day sounds wonderful! The history of it sounds so interesting, the candle crown, the speaking animals and supernatural...it has a really mysterious feel to it, to me. It's pretty nonetheless, almost like a fairytale, it sounds like a really fun holiday to celebrate and I'm glad you had fun! <3 You're welcome, also, I'm glad it was done pretty quickly for you, though it doesn't look rushed at all! nwn SAI, huh? A lot of people use it, I gave it a try, I might stick with it.~

I've actually used SAI before, a few years ago, and it was confusing for me back then. nwn" But recently I did actually use it, and it was pretty handy, so I may continue with it. <3

Aww, I'm really blushy over here- thankies so much!♥︎♥︎ ;; It was actually just sketch that took an hour to make and coloured it along with shading it quickly, total it was 3 hours~ Then I played a little bit with effects and that took another one hour ♥︎ I didn't put that much effort, but effects can make difference! ;;
