I tried giving it a little more detail but it turned out kinda wierd. I really think all my drawings look better when in greyscale.Hope you like it!

have you tried to quickly sketch up the drawing in color first then turning it to greyscale? If you save up your colored sketch on a seperate layer or file and use the greyscale version to detail. Then you could put the colored version over the top in the "color" mode and it should retain the correct values of shading for the selected color.
Sorry if I make no sense. I have made a tutorial about this long ago. If you just check like step 4 to 7 :
Greyscale is all I use now. It's so much easier to shade that way

Thank you for your comment - well, the colored version was kinda rushed and I don't feel to well with coloring even now. I made the greyscale version first and just put a color layer over it that's why some value may feel off
