Sleep, the blessed state of the soul that dissconnects one from senses and struggles.
Without nightmares, peaceful.
Lonely and heavy.
The only escape that is left.ย
And here it is, the final piece for 2021, depicting what I need the most recently. I've struggled with making this into a full painting and every time I had a chance to work on it I was falling asleep myself - in the end it's still pretty rough and colorless piece, but I'll excuse myself that it captures the sleepy aura wellย
