I've started a small project in one of the Discord servers I'm in where I draw peoples magic based on moodboard, descriptions and other references.The magic on the left were my first attempts and the ones on the right my second. As I felt I could do better.
I still feel like I could improve them. However at some point I needed to move on to draw all other magic I still wanted to finish.
