Here's Firefly, a snowy owl/Clydesdale hippogriff. I was pretty much given free reign to do what I wanted...the only thing really specified were the body color, species, and eye color. The gryph was quite hard to blend and look relatively natural, but here we are, though this is relatively unpolished and bland compared to what I wish I could've done.Photoshop 6.0

Well my first impression was: Wow, that certainly has a sense of power.
I really like the stance you decided upon - it truly has the strength behind the Clydesdale behind it.
As far as critique... I only think the wings seem a little too small in comparison with the rest of the body. I'm not an expert on horse anatomy either, though the body's length seems very long for a draft horse. It's probably just me though. :}
Excellent on the background, though I aaaaaaalmost wish there was a bit more detail in it, as in that cloud in the background - that's good stuff.
