Description
An entry for Doll-MakerBuffs ' Winter theme: Winter weather. Winter naturally makes me think of the cold, of snow and sleet and heavy winds ( very common here in winter, alongside flooding.). It makes me think of freezing skin that beginnings to go very pale, white or blueish, numb fingers, toes and faces. It makes me think of layers or heavy coats, with gloves, scarves, hats or whatever other combination people go for. It also makes me think of the brave souls who I see walking around in short dresses/skirts/shorts or short-sleeved tops tat leave me wondering if they're not human.... before I remember I live in Northern England and seldom wear a coat myself because this is the norm for us.

But anyway, here's an elegant woman at a winter party, enjoying the snow falling from the starry sky. I kind of envisioned her as an embodiment of the cold. Hence her colour scheme of whites, blues sine they're cold colours.
