I wanted to draw Lin Bei Fong, I swear, but after the 7th episode preview, which literally broke my heart...I will probably fail my exams

So... is this Tahnos' finality? With every coming episode, it's becoming more and more likely that he is gone indefinitely.

I think that he will be back in some time. He just got too much character developement to disappear. Okay, i think that maybe we will not see him in the first season anymore, but he will show up for sure. He's just too interesting character to be wasted.

Did you watch the whole preview?? The part that makes me happiest is when he tells Korra to get Amon for him. Teamwork!! Sorta...at least we know Tahno's not going anywhere soon? I hope he sticks around.
By the way, nice artwork!!

But anyway, he's not the character which will disappear for 100%. He just got too much attention in first episodes to be forgotten with unresolved storyline twist.

Weeelllll, in the most recent (I think) episode,
(non-spoiler version) Tahno is a cameo in a group of people that will be both important and very close to at least part of Team Avatar. (not the Equalists, if you're wondering.)
(spoiler version) When Extremes Meet, a group of non-benders protesting an unjust law are unjustly arrested, and Asami, Mako, and Bolin also get arrested when they try to interfere. If you look closely, Tahno is among those getting arrested. I have a feeling he'll get a cell near Team Avatar's cell(s) in episodes to come.

Yeah, I did see that. I've seen a screenshot and while it does look a lot like him, the hair on the left side of his head (or, oppisite his bang) isn't as flat against his head, and his face isn't as long which makes the character look more female than male. It could've been just a mix up

Even if that person wasn't supposed to be Tahno, I think the people who made that scene probably wanted to remind the viewers of him.... My hope is that he becomes a saboteur and/or helps Lin Beifong in whatever plans she has. Could you send me a link to the screenshot?

Thanks! Because of the boobs, I'm going to say that's not Tahno. But I think she is definitely meant to remind the viewers of Tahno. I don't know what just reminding the viewers means, but I don't think that Tahno will be very unimportant. He's too much like Zuko was. I hope....unless the animators were just trolling. Maybe that lady imitated his hair as a sort of protest...? I don't know.

as soon as i saw the preview, i felt so bad, i went from "you jerk!" to "poor guy..." i may not be the biggest Tahno fan in the world, but even i couldn't help but feel sorry for him ya know?
