Raphie with his favorite niece!
This scene popped into my skull and I couldn't resist. The fluff was too overpowering.I think I drew Kita too small and Raph looks weird, but oh well. I'm happy with it.
Hope you like it Rea! *glomps* Felt you were overdue for something like this, hard-working flutist, artist, and writer.

I love Raph's little smile. So cute! He really loves his little niece. And Kita is just as cute as she can be. For some reason I didn't know she had a tail, but that doesn't really matter.

The first thing it reminded me off is the pics I have of my hubbie with each of our boys when they were first born. I've managed to get one similar to this for each, much to my hubbies disgruntlement! 
It *IS* such a classic pose for a newborn and parent though. (Yeah I know Raph aint exactly her Dad, but he does seem to have taken a real shine to her.) And I don't think Kita is too small. Any newborn is tiny, prems are just teensy!
Raph doesn't look awkward to me drawing wise. No-one looks particularly graceful catching z's on a couch, so I think you did a great job of him looking very relaxed.
Anyway, I gotta go huggle my own kiddos now... -squeeee-!

The cuteness is overwhelming. C: I see kinda what you mean about Raph... could be a slight foreshortening problem, or maybe his torso just looks too short for your average adult male? Still adorable, and it has just the right amount of detail - not too simple, but not overloaded with meaningless texture... very pleasant to the eye. Nice work.
