Lucien was one of flesh eaters borned on Earth, near the humans, so he is half wild half tamed. He lost his legs and hands because some hunter was trying to catch him in the trap. When he escaped, hunter's dogs were trying to catch him and they terribly assault him. Then he ran away from place when he lived before and found abandoned fabric, where he stayed. Yes, he could have normal prosthesis, but he wanted to look "cool" and he just love when people give him attention.
