Ironically, Penny DOES have a soul. She was specifically designed to have one so that she can use her Aura. I thought I was so clever for realizing this that I wrote this comment without reading any of the ones below. Sure hope this hasn't been pointed out a million times already!

The odd thing is, I can see people telling penny this sort of stuff later in the series; mostly people like Cardin, but I can also see her going on a soul searching adventure for the purpose of her soul.
Sadly, the fact of the matter is that she has a soul. She admitted to having an aura. Which is the projection of one's soul. I had to say it, didn't mean to sound like that ass who corrects on errors In humor comics, but it had to be said.
