double hand axes that can merge to one large axe. i think the part where the axe blade is should be able to turn 180 degrees for a much better reach though while chopping.

I don't know what you're seeing, mate, but it appears more like bladed-brass knuckles (sort of, they aren't actual brass knuckles, but may function the same way) that combine into a battle ax.
For reference, a naginata looks like this: www.medievalcollectibles.com/i… , which is essentially a staff with a katana-like blade on one end, at least, that's how I think of it.
