Yurei is pretty quick on her feet, but her wit is even faster. Her cleverness is also further enhanced by her creativity, she thinks outside the box which allows her to see many different perspectives on the same thing (this also helps her game play as she tries things no one else does), perhaps due to this she loves a good challenge or conversation as it's a chance to learn. Yurei, however, can sometimes can bite off more than she can chew. She's been guilty of, on more than one occasion, sticking her foot (hoof) in her mouth and eating her won words. Still, she'll own up to it. Yurei will begrudgingly own up to it, being an adamant (stubborn) sort doesn't help, but once she figures out and accepts faults in herself or thoughts she will correct.

Yurei devotes herself wholly to whatever she throws herself into whether it be: friends, hobbies, activates, or family. Still this can be problematic as Yurei can obsess over things. She needs to catch the red fish, why? Because she caught 3 blue and 2 red, she needs a 3rd red! Shaking her out of this state isn't' always easy. The best bet is to distract her or let her calm down as these episodes make her fairly irrational.

Yurei is the youngest child of three and for the most part had a good childhood. Her father was a loving mon, but sometimes got too involved in his work as a diamond broker, so things were a bit harsher when mother was left in charge. Mrs. Yamamoto was old school, she believed in perfection for herself and her children. Yurei does her best to keep her grades up and do her best to make her parents proud, but she stops when her mother asks her to turn into a Frolass as Yurei's sister, mother, and grandmother had all done before her. Yurei refuses, and their relationship suffers due to that. Yurei becomes a lost cause in her mothers time, but this is not such a bad thing. Freed from the constant need to be prefect Yurei is free to pursue her interests. She takes up wrestling and creative writing (two things she always wanted to take).

Wrestling helps spur Yurei into a Glalie, this firmly seals her mother's distant nature, from there she becomes much more confident. In fact she feels confident enough to branch out and make some real friends (not the 'right' children her mother had her study with). These friends introduce her to gaming. The Glalie is an anomaly as she is a gamer girl, but she doesn't care. If Yurei can survive her mother's icy glare than she can take the crudeness and skepticism of a few online noobs.

Her father, worried she was spending too much time in the 'fantasy' world, took her on one of his brokering trips. It's the first trip in a long time and the first trip together. They went to Pacificlog Island. They enjoy fishing, diving, trying the local foods, and relaxing in the surf. From junior high on it became their tradition to go to Pacificlog once a year. Once done with high school Yurei goes on to get a degree in English, where her mother encourages her to at least find a decent man, Yurei does well and nearly landed a job a secretary till a gaming competition changed everything. She was the first woman to win first place in the Mortal KangsKnan-bat. Suddenly her little videos are getting tons of hits, mons want more, and sponsors want her to play their games or have her push their product.

Her father, while proud, worried how long this fame would last and advised her to think about her future. Yurei agreed with him, popularity could be fleeting, so she hunts for other jobs. She gets some work as a game critique and wins another gaming tournament. Yurei wasn't keen on the sudden up in attention, or the various stalkers, so she decided to use her funds to move to a quieter place.
