Nah he is just pretending to be human, and the red priest seemed to like mutilated bodyparts so...but, ok he should have been hairy perhaps

I see.. well still the combination of those features gives it strange and unique feel. Lack of hair makes me think more of a mutant than an apeman... postapocaliptic Conan ?

Actually he has fur, but very short. The shaven-monkey look makes him more human looking, sort of in the middle between ape and man.
